This artwork is a celebration of our vibrant community in the Southwest region. I wanted to create an artwork that is energetic and striking. I truly appreciate how our region isqsurrounded by such a variety of resources and waterways. It offers our people the ability to find a lifestyle that is suited to them. I believe that our community work together to keep or region a beautiful and special place to live. We all play our part in continuing to better our special place and conserving it for the future generations.
I’m proud of how we embrace other people and celebrate culture. It warms my heart to see more representation of Noongar culture throughout the region but most importantly schools. I feel so blessed to bring my children up on Noongar Country.
