My mum grew up in and around Tweed Heads. She would always tell us about the beautiful waterways where she once lived. She grew up fishing and playing with her siblings on these rivers, beaches and creeks. When I was old enough I travelled to the region. I understood why she was so connected to the area and its beautiful waterways. I enjoyed hiking from Kirra to the Gold Coast QLD. It gave me to opportunity to view the coastline and the crystal clear creeks that opened up to the beach. The pretty flora was an added bonus.
